 We have 35 PC in another location that will not update to the new client and inventory PCs. Plus when we send a script that works on other PCs It does not work. It does place the program in kbots_cache folder.

We had this other location setup for replication for software updates, but turn it off. I have uninstall the agent and re-install the newer version and still nothing.

  • Are you updating from the 6.XXX to 7.XXX ?
    Because there have been problems with the k1000 not updating machines automatically from version 6 to version 7.
    You might need to contact support.

  • The problem that I had was that the 6.4 agents updated to the 7.1 agent and dropped off of inventory.
    If your clients still show that they are on the old Agent and are not checking in, it is probably because you need to either reinstall or run the -
    Amptools.exe retrust command
