Kace 2000 / VM Size?

[font="trebuchet ms"]Im new to case and recently starting testing KACE via virtual machine. I started running out of disk space so I deleted a couple images and software media but noticed the disk space was not reclaimed, i went and selected purge but the disk space still was not reclaimed... (vmware size)
[font="trebuchet ms"]
[font="trebuchet ms"]is this normal of should the size of my KACE vm disk be reducing when I delete something in VM...
[font="trebuchet ms"]
[font="trebuchet ms"]Thanks in advance
[font="trebuchet ms"]Lavelle

if you use "Thin provisioning" it will only expand when it's needed, not get smaller when you delete stuff as far as I know

I think the OP is referring to the virtual disk on the VM host server. If that is the case, then there is typically nothing you can do. The virtual drive will inflate as needed, but it will not shrink when data is deleted.
