Kace 1000 5.5 newly installed, questions about the new Software Catalog

All my license assets have this message:

This license needs to be transferred to apply to the new Software Catalog. Transfer now.

When I select Transfer now, I get:

Select the cataloged software to which this license should apply.

There are no catalogs to select. So I am not sure what I need to do to get this going.

When you go to Inventory > Software Catalog Do you have anything listed there? You need to have the 5.5 agent out there to have the system pull down the catalog and start to discover what you has against the downloaded catalog. - nshah 10 years ago
I'm trying to create license asset for my new original Windows 8.1 OS... In the tab Inventory/Software Catalog/Discovered there is no my OS... I create software asset first and then connect it to license asset where I get your mentioned error to transfer it to Software Catalog...

is KACE able to find ("discover") OS in its software catalog or is license monitoring for it done on some other way??? - dlistar 10 years ago
