K2000 v5.0 UI customization

10/23/2017 1509 views
With the update to 5.0 the UI is horrendous and pretty unreadable with the color scheme and changeable fields being the same color as the background. I've never cared with the last 5 years of UI changes so I've never looked for or seen options to change this. Is there an option some where to customize the colors/scheme?

  • As far as I know, nope, if it's something of a health-eye vision and you use chrome, try pluggins like

  • For the SDA there is a change request ESMEA-3422 to add additional UI themes to choose from (also darker ones like the 4.x)
ESMP-5478 is the same for the SMA
    • Thanks Nico! I saw an admin comment on a suggestion on uservoice. Good to get additional confirmation :)

First of all, let me reiterate that I know diddly squat about Kace boxes but surely, this is just HTML and - hopefully - CSS.

Check out the style sheets being used and, once you've found them, back them up somewhere and then edit to suit yourself. Document what you've done because any update from the vendor will most likely blow away your changes.
