K2000 Imaging using OEM Win 7
Hi, Looking to create an image in VmWare for Windows 7 Professional. Unfortunately all the machines are OEM licensed for the OS. Would I need to create an image with OEM media or can I create it with Volume license media and then enter in the OEM key later?

In my experience volume license media will take an OEM key...

Yeah our last batch of machines we sold/donated after wiping them I ran a scripted install w/ our volume media and it took our OEM keys from the stickers...so you should be good to go. - jegolf 9 years ago
