K2000 2 out of 7 devices not UEFI PXE booting

I purchsaed 6 Optiplex 7450 AIO and a Optiplex 3050.  5 of the 7450's will UEFI PXE boot no problem.  The one will search for IPv4 media, and fail.  The 3050 will look for IPv4 media, and then go into the onboard diagnostics, and pass.  If i boot to the KBE with USB, it works fine.

I've made sure that UEFI network stack is enabled, Sata operational mode is set to AHCI, and Secure Boot is disabled.  I've even updated the bios, and used the dell command configure to pull the bios config from a known working 7450, and put it on the one that won't work.

I've swapped network cabled, used the same cables as the working machines, and even plugged direcrtly into the switch.  Any ideas on why USB would work, and not PXE?  I don't think this is a driver issue, as we aren't even getting to that point.  I'm attempting to deploy a windows 10 image.

  • Network card issues maybe?? swap network cards and try. - akmagnum 6 years ago
  • Thats what I was thinking, but I can't put a network card in a AIO unless I buy a seperate ethernet to USB that allows PXE booting?

I have one on order for the 3050 since I need 2 network ports for it, but will have to wait for that to come in. - scrowley 6 years ago

I figured it out.  We have two DHCP servers mirroring each other, and I only made the DHCP changes on one, but they don't tranfer to the other one.  Once I updated both, they both worked.

Ah...ok. We also have two ones. The second is only for failure use. I will make the settings there too, thanks.
