K110 not resolving hostnames

Good morning.

I've been having challenges rolling out clients to Windows workstations and servers. I have a k1100 using version 6.4.119927 with a client version of 6.4.180. The installation of the client fails unless I use the alternate location with an IP\client entry.

Our primary network has a mask of 255.255.254.0 and all other connecting networks are straight class C. I am wondering if that is causing this issue. Would anyone have an idea regarding that?

Thanks in advance.

our test network has a mask of 255.255.255.128 and all the others have a mask of 255.255.255.0.  The K1 and K2 both sit on one of the test networks and we have never had a problem.

I would lean more towards filewall or ACL issues more then the masking.
