K1000 v7.0 Ticket Submitter Info shows manager's user ID not name

We import users from AD, including the user's manager. Looking at the user in the Admin interface the info regarding manager is correct, display name: Last, First.

However, when the user submits a ticket and we look at the Submitter Contact Info (click on the Blue i next to submitter) the manager field shows the managers user ID, not full name. Anyone know how we can change this?

Official response from support:

"This issue has been verified as a known issue on K1000version 7.0.121306 with the number K1-19149 and this is corrected in version7.1.149."

I would contact support about this issue, it sounds like that is just how the page is setup and probably can't be changed without their intervention.
