KACE Product Support Question

K1000 Submitters ability to close their own ticket

12/03/2015 1697 views
In the K1000, can I configure it so a service ticket can be closed out by the submitter of the ticket when they log in to the web console?  If so where is the settings for this?

Answer Summary:
You should be able to change the permission of the Status field within the queue. You can go under Customize fields and Layouts and change it to something like User Modify.

    • You can find the link to "Customize fields and Layouts" on the top of the "Queue Details" page. To get to the Queue Details go to the admin interface and click Service Desk > Configuration > Queues > [your queue name]
      • Thanks, but how I can allow Submitters to close their own tickets? Right now, they have ne option to do this.
