K1000 - Certificate expired for agents (konea)

Hi,

We have an old K1000 appliance (7.0.121307) with 192 clients agents deployed (7.0.763).

Since the 09.03.2020, the agents can’t communicate their status (online/offline) to the appliance. But, if we do a manual inventory (runkbot 4 0) , this one is correctly send (with 80 or 443) on the appliance.

I think the problem is with the agent (konea) and his generated certificate (*.pem file in C:\ProgramData\Dell\KACE\). Because, this one is expired since 09.03.2020.

Is there a way to generate a new certificate for the agents ? If yes, what is the procedure ?

If not, is there a way to disable the SSL (https) communications for the agents and use http ? I tried it by modifying the « amp.conf » file, but it always download the expired certificate and always use https (443).

Can you help me please ?

Thanks !

The current release is 10.1.  Versions prior to 10.0 will not function with patching.

Your current version is discontinued support. The solution would be to upgrade to a supported version. 10.x.
