K1000 Asset Depreciation

Is there a way to set depreciaition of assets on the K1000 apart from typing in a number manually for each asset.

Thanks

There are two possibilities:

If you have the depreciation data in a spreadsheet you could upload that data using the Asset Import tab. You would need to be able to match something in the asset table to what you're importing so that records are updated instead of new records inserted.

Alternatively you could create a service desk rule to update assets and insert the depreciation value. Service desk rules are not limited to only updating tickets so you could use the update portion of the rule to make the necessary changes to the asset.
