K1000 Agent disk image not unmounting after install on Mac OS X

We just upgraded our K1000 server to 5.4.70402 and clients to 5.4.5315. Our Windows systems appear to be updating without issue.  We have noticed that with some Macs the installer disk image is not unmounting after the agent is updated.  The mounted disk image appears on the users' desktops.  Has anyone else run into this issue?

I have not had an issue with this in my Mac environment. What version of OS X are you running?

  • Various versions between 10.5.8 to 10.8.2 - grayematter 11 years ago
  • I have noticed this on a handful of my Macs as well. Unfortunately I do not have a fix for this. I have just been telling the users to manually unmount it. - sburkey2 11 years ago

Did the client got successfully upgraded to 5.4.5315 on those machines where the image remained mounted?

Comments:
  • Yes, the client did successfully upgrade and they are reporting in with the updated version. - grayematter 11 years ago
  • We've had the same issue, though systems did not check in after the upgrade. We used ARD to send an unmount command to take care of the disk image. To fix the check in issues I sent a known good amp.conf to the machines and then restarted ampagent. - SpacePC 10 years ago
