K1000 6.3 App-v discovery

I see in the 6.3 release notes that the Kace client now identifies systems that have App-V installed and also returns a list of the sequenced applications installed within App-V.  We have had the K1000 for a couple years and it has always detected the Kace client itself.  I have machines with the 6.3 client on them and I don't see anywhere that it returns a list virtual apps in app-v.  Am I missing something?

The App-V identifier in 6.3 can be found within the Software Catalog item. So if you go to Inventory>Software Catalog Select an item of software and look at the details you should see at the bottom, under the Versions Installed a column for App-V, as in the image below

Whilst the data is there, it is not much use unless you van report against it, I will try and find where that value is stored in the DB and will update with a report SQL

I was looking at the device inventory and did not see the software listed.

I do see some apps in the catalog with the app-v column.  It turns out that the app I was looking for shows up as uncatalogged in the software catalog.  The uncatalogged software shows the number installed at the bottom and if you click the link, you see the devices that have it.  Unfortunately if you actually view those devices, the software is not listed.  It appears as though uncatalogged software does not show up on device inventory.  To make matters worse, it seems to add a new entry to uncatalogged software every time a different machine is detected with it.  The names and versions are identical but the file date seems to be different based on when the virtual app was deployed.  This makes it very difficult to make them cataloged and therefore difficult to show up on device inventory.
