iTunes 10.5 proxy authenication

Hello,

I have recently packaged iTunes 10.5 and have found the client is recieving a proxy authentication pop up when attempting open the library.

"To access this site, you need to log in to the http proxy server"

For everything else the proxy is automaticly authenticated.

Is there anyway around this? I have googled it and can only find info saying it happens since 10+ but no workarounds.

Thanks,

Deevon

This isn't a packaging issue but a network configuration issue.

....or could be a problem with your browser configuration, but likely along the same lines as VBScab mentions. If the problem is that you don't want it to attempt to go out to the interweb, then you need to find the setting to disable that feature and include it with your package.

Thanks guys,

I figured as much but wanted to hear it from someone who actually knew what was going on.

Thanks again
