Is there a VBI script which can overwrite a .ini file created at the time of launching an .MSI after installation for the first time.

I have a .msi created using setup capture from WPS. When launched for the first time creates a ini file in the user profile section which contains information about the license server name, its port number & a private folder that will be created in user profile. The information in the ini file is incorrect and I need a way to overwrite it so that when the application is installed, the ini file with correct details is installed with it. Is there a VBScript through which I can do this task. Also Do I need to use active setup, as I have advertised shortcuts for the .msi.
