Is there a separate iso file for Windows 1803 Education?

The scripts I have found and used to pick a version to install from the combined ISO file are not working.  I would like to find a Windows 1803 Education only ISO file.

Unfortunately, Microsoft stopped releasing separate ISOs almost a year ago.

If you are deploying it with a KACE SDA, and using verison 6.0, there is a new setting that will let you automatically pick the version you want.

You will need to build a new Scripted install.

Or, you could use DISM with that ISO, and locate the INDEX ID of Education, and then follow this:

Replace the <Valyue> with the ID matching the Education selection in your ISO.

  • I added this a comment on the linked post, but placing here as well. You can specify the edition by name instead of the index:
    <ImageInstall>
    <OSImage>
    <InstallFrom>
    <MetaData wcm:action="add">
    <Key>/IMAGE/NAME</Key>
    <Value>Windows 10 Enterprise</Value>
    </MetaData>
    </InstallFrom>
    </OSImage>
    </ImageInstall> - chucksteel 5 years ago
