You have many KACE license possibilities.
I assume you mean the Freemium version Quest KACE K1000 Express, a stripped down Quest KACE SMA (see here: https://www.quest.com/products/kace-express/ ) which has a one year license without costs.
Besides that: all Dell labeled appliances ( the software!) are end of life, so they should be updated to a supported version.

Kace Express is free FOREVER. For the first year you get unlimited sensors. After that you can only have 100. As long as you reduce your sensors to under that limit, you will be fine. If you have more, I am not sure exactly how K1000Express determines which will no longer work.
