Inventory Devices empty

It used to work.  Not sure when it stopped working, but when I go to Inventory in my KACE 1000 I have no devices listed.  How do I start diagnosing this?  I really need to use the software inventory like I used to.

  • Are you saying that the inventory device page has no devices listed?
    What version of the SMA?
    How many devices do you have in your environment?
    Did you open a support ticket?

George, it sounds as if you have made changes to your k1000 and now all you devices have gone awol. I would ask what version you are on and suggest that you go to your client share, grab a copy of your agent and reinstall on a couple of devices to see if they check in?

  • Thank you for your reply. I was able to access the share and get the agent. I attempted to install it manually on one machine, but it said it was already installed. So the only option was to uninstall (repair was disabled). I uninstalled it and reinstalled. Still no luck. The computer does not show up in inventory. I attempted to add the machine to inventory by pushing agent to machine and it failed with error: NETWORK/NT_STATUS_END_OF_FILE. I had attempted to add all the machines yesterday and all 300+ machines failed. Some said 'KBOX/K1000 Agent already installed' and others said the error mentioned above. I disabled the firewall on the computer I tested today. Any further help would be much appreciated.
