Integrating Dell Kace and Solarwinds

I'm curious to know just how well Kace and Solarwinds NPM can integrate. My boss seems to think that the level of integration possible is rather high, In that you can get a substantial amount of information out of the kace agent and somehow pull data from kace's database and display it as a highly detailed node in solarwinds, or vice versa, by pulling data from Solarwinds to Kace for asset management. Any help would be appreciated as this is a project handed down to me by my department manager.

  • I'd like to know more about this as well. We are beginning to implement Solarwinds over here too. - AndrewQ 9 years ago
  • So far we have only gotten as far as manually transferring over node details using a .csv and importing the data using the 'Asset Import' function. After that It's pretty painless, if you work it out before hand. you should be able to match the fields one-to-one and overwrite/update any assets all ready in KACE. - lnavarro 9 years ago
