Just playing around in InstallShield, Was wondering how you can use an MSI as a template to repackage an app without using the Projects.

Is it possible to use a MSI to create a template .ist file in Installshield and then use the repackager to snapshot an app using that template like in Wise.

Currently we use WPS5.1 and Use a company wide MSI file as a template which has our own Custom actions and so on. We can apply this template to any single snapshot without creating a project first. This is because we've already used the SetupCapture Configuration and pointed it to our template.msi

So What I'm asking is, is that possible in InstallShield Admin Studio 6

I used to use a template .ism file to apply to my capture in Repackager. This was in AdminStudio 5.5, but I presume that its the same for version 6?
