Installing Files Directly To C:\ In Wise Package Studio

Hello. I am using Wise Package Studio 5 and I am repackaging an application that requires an INI file to be on the root of the machine (C:\file.ini). How can I accomplish this inside the Windows Installer Editor?

I found out that the file was not necessary for the application, but just for reference, is this possible to do?

Try setting the "DirProperty" column of the "Inifile" table to "ROOTDRIVE".

You should also set the ROOTDRIVE property to "C:\" in this case.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
