Software Deployment

We have an installer at my company which installs our application. I have created an msp which replaces 2 dll´s. We install our driver using Difxapp. When I install the patch, our service stops, the dll´s get replaced, and then the service starts up again. But for some reason during the installation of the msp, the driver gets uninstalled, and then reinstalled, meaning that the user has to restart the computer.

Is there any way to disable the driver getting reinstalled.
