i have to try to give full control to group Users to INSTALLDIR folder, to do it, i´ve created a Custom Action and use "cacls" command. But i don´t know why this custom action doesn´t work fine. If i put the path in the Custom it works perfectly, but if i use the property don´t change the permissions.

I´ve coded the custom action:

Working Directory: SystemFolder
Filename & CommandLine: cacls.exe [INSTALLDIR][MYNEWDIRECTORY] /T /E /G Users:F

I think my fail is in command line, i don´t know how i put the variables correctly. Someone can help me??

Thanks in advance.

What does [MYNEWDIRECTORY] resolve to? If you replace this variable with the hard-coded string (leaving [INSTALLDIR] as it is) does the CA work?

Where have you scheduled the CA?

The CA is a Launch executable type.
If i leave only [INSTALLDIR] the CA is executed but doen´t change the permissions.
