INSTALLDIR issue

In Netmanage RUMBA Vendor MSI the INSTALLDIR( in product properties) is not same as Files and Folders INSTALLDIR.

In quality report it says INSTALLDIR does not match.

In product properties-->INSTALLDIR is--> [ProgramFilesFolder] and in Files and Folder view i am getting [ProgramFilesFolder]NetManage as INSTALLDIR.

Ideally it should be --> [ProgramFilesFolder]NetManage in product properties but when i change the INSTALLDIR in product properties to -->[ProgramFilesFolder]NetManage then in files and folder view i get -->[ProgramFilesFolder]NetManage\NetManage.

can anybody help me out on this issue.

reply asap

If I remember correctly, when I captured Rumba it didn't set the default installation directory correctly. This is something you should double check for every application, because it doesn't always default in a way that makes sense. In the general information for the package there is a default installation directory, it sounds like that is set to the Program Files directory which will cause problems. Set it to the Rumba directory under program files.

YOu need to create an entry in the directory table

Netmanage ProgramFilesFolder NetMana~1|Netmanage

Then Change
INSTALLDIR Netmanage .

This should solve your problem
