Check if there is more than 5Gb of free space in the HDD. I have seen this error before and was related to not enough space. Next to check are the third party softwares like MS Visual Redistributables. - dj_xest 10 years ago

All the pre-requisites are installed on the machine. The machine on which I am installing is having AdobecreativeSuite5Design prem & AdobeCS3Design Premium appliations. Will it create any problem? - sanhivi 10 years ago

It is faling in client machines.... In my test machine it is working fine.... I have checked the applications related to adobe which are present in their machine. After that I have installed the same in my machine and installed AdobeIncopy package. It is successfully installing here but not working in client machine.
Pls find the log file for the same.

There are assumptions being made that may not be correct. The original log segment that was posted indicates that the InstallFinalize action returned 3, and this does not necessarily translate to the immediately preceding action as the culprit. You could always disable the action by deleting it in a transform and see what changes, if anything. You could also try installing manually using an elevated account and check whether you get the same error. I am presuming that you have created the install using the 32 bit install from the source media, if you are testing on 32 bit, and that any runtimes you are using are also 32 bit.
Some Adobe installs only work with /qn on the msiexec command line - ie they must be totally silent. Did you use the right version of the AAMEE? Each CS release has its own version. Posting the entire MSI installation log in verbose mode may be helpful. - EdT 10 years ago

I have checked all the returncodes... everything is returning 0 except the mentioned action.
I have used AAMEE 3.1 which supports my application.
And I am installing the app with /qn mode only... still facing the same problem.... - sanhivi 10 years ago
