Software Deployment

For the entry under the Distributions tab, what do you have selected for "Managed Action:"? Anything other than "Disabled" means that the installer will run after the next time the system checks in and when the execute condition is correct (anytime, before/after logon, user logged on/off). Force a check in for one of your targeted systems to see how it works.

Note that the inventory will likely be reported back before the software install completes, so it may take another check in for the software to show in the installed software list. - grayematter 9 years ago

If you set up everything correctly the installation will kick in at the next inventory cycle (normally every 2h)
If you want to force the inventory you can do it or from the web interface (inventory tab -> select the machine and then Force Inventory from the choose action menu) or if you want to act from the machine you need to open a command line with elevated privileges, change to the agent executables directory (C:\program files\dell\kace..) and issue the command runkbot -s 4 0
Be aware that the installation will not kick in if the program is already installed on the target PC.
