After installing Novell client 4.9 and when we try to login to a new user this error will pop-up.("INF Install failure. Reason: Access is denied").. Even after giving full permission to all folders in the root drive and full permission to registry.. the same error repeats..

But if the user is administrator this error wont be there .

Which process is making the "Setupapi" call? How is the process being launched? Is it a "run" key in the registry or is it an MSI custom action?

I'm guessing it's a "run" key? In which case, you should probably make it a CA in your MSI.
