In a queue process, can the child/children tickets have different fields?
I've not worked in KACE for well over a year and I'm very rusty.
I have a queue, ER Workflow. Within this q I need to set up a process with a parent and 7 child tickets. BUT ideally all of the children will have different fields (with checkboxes, multi-select, single select, etc.) that only pertain to that particular stage/ticket of the process
Is there a way to do this all within the same Q?
Or must I have a different Q for each of the stages in order to get the flexibility I need?
If the parent and all children must look the same, it makes for a rather lengthy ticket with a lot of extraneous information on the child tickets.
(There are actually several queues built and in use, but they are separate from what I'm attempting to do here).

You will have to have different queues for now until KACE figures out how to customize fields in a queue better.

It's disappointing however that a lot of the really good ideas on there have been in development since 2011 though. - h2opolo25 9 years ago
