Imaging with kbox client

Kboxer's
This last week I set up an os image for my WDS server that included the kbox client on it. The knowlege base says before posting the image to the server the last thing to run is Kinstallersetup.exe -clone_prep. But, when doing this I find that there are two copies of Adobe flash loaded on the image when it's install to a new computer. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of this second copy?

thanks

I don't think the KBOX agent has anything to do with your duplicate copy of Adobe Flash. The two are entirely unrelated.

Yes that's what I though but when the image is installed from the server it comes down with two copies when on one was loaded.
The only dif is the client load. More testing is in order.

Are you imaging with the K2000? If so, you should try posting in the K2000 forum. I was under the impression you were using something else to image and were having issues with the agent.

you were correct. I'm using Windows Deployment Services (WDS).

The only thing that Kinstallersetup.exe -clone_prep does is install the KBOX agent without the agent GUIDs so that it will get a unique one when it starts for the first time on the new machine. It does not affect anything else on the machine and would not install Adobe. Perhaps you have some kind of script (KBOX or not) that is installing a copy post-image?

Gerald;
I didn't create the image that is giving us the issue so I don't know what else might be causing the problem. When I get a chance to do a fresh one I'll know more.

I fond the issue;
I had a distribution setup to load Adobe flash on every computer. So when the new ones checked in after the client was installed it loaded Adobe again.
