iEnterprise Applix Log in

Hi

I Have my Applix package . The app installs fine without any errors. But When a User tries to log in to it , with the server name and User name I get this error. As anyone had this problem, Am I missing something in packaging. Please guide.. Very much ASAP

  • Let's presume you have captured a legacy installer to create an MSI (you don't tell us this)

    After installing your MSI, did you perform a gap capture of the vendor install, to ensure that your package includes everything that the original does? - anonymous_9363 9 years ago
  • HI , I extracted the MSI from the exe. so its the vendor msi. - shamu99 9 years ago

Like VBScab in the comment already says, you are not giving us much to go on.
But it looks like you did not capture the database settings or are not putting them in the current user registry.

Did you check whether the EXE does anything other than just run the MSI?  Does a version of ISScript.MSI also get installed by the EXE ? I've seen EXEs that install a lot more than just the MSI - including shortcuts.  You need to give full information if you want help "Very much asap". If you can't make the effort, then don't be surprised if others respond the same way.
