ibm Db2client shortcut error
Hi
Has any body did the silent installation of IBM DB2client application.
it extracts the VMSI.
when i installed the VMSI in User interface its working as expected.
but if i install this in silent mode with /qb
and if i laucnh the shortcut i am (commandlinetools->commandeditor)
getting the below error message.
DB29501E Db2 has detected an inconsistent environment. please investigate the follwoing DB2instance:-2029059916
any suggestions?

This normally means that there are Custom Actions in the UI sequence which aren't set to execute in the Immediate sequence.
IBM's MSIs suck.

Have you compared logs taken from a silent and non-silent install?
