  • Are you asking how to make a text file on the desktop?
  • How much text are you wanting to give?

Could you not use the 'Notify: Initial Message' to give the users the details instead.

You can run a script to add a file to the users desktop, but not sure how you would get it to open automatically on there computer without dropping the file to the startup menu.
  • So you just want to add a .txt file on every desktop with content inside it and to be opened using notepad? If so super easy with file syncronizations under distribution. please confirm and we can help

Does the customer have an active directory and Group Policy? if so, Create the txt document using notepad and save it to a network share.

Using GPO you can tell the network to copy this file to as many clients as you wish and even remove or change the text at any time.
