I have created a new KBE with latest drivers. When I image from it, It's stuck on Kace systems deployment client menu and says "logging into server", nothing happens.

I have created a new KBE with latest drivers. When I image from it, It's stuck on Kace systems deployment client menu and says "logging into server", nothing happens. I get only 2 options 1. restart device 2. shutdown device. any help would be much appreciated.

If you can get to a command prompt on the PXE booted machine do an ipconfig and see if have an IP. 

If you do not:

Try typing "startnet" at the prompt and hit enter.  That will reload the start command file.  If you get an ip the second time you are having a negotiation problem between the machine and switch.

If you do not you need to go download the WINPE driver pack for that model and add that to the kbe driver directory manually and rebuild a new kbe.

  • Has to have an IP, he got to the deployment screen which is stored on the server ;)
    I would check the license, make sure it is active. You can also right click and choose refresh. Lastly, make sure the KBE was build on a fresh machine with no AV, no domain, etc. etc. - cserrins 4 years ago

I would build a new KBE on a Windows vanilla machine.
