K1000 Helpdesk Emailing Problem

I have a K1000 box and when I add a comment to a ticket it does not email the submitter back with my comments on the ticket.  I am using the internal SMTP server to send email from the Kace box. The enable servicedesk POP3 server is set to our mail server which is hosted. Any ideas why I can not add

I am using the internal SMTP server to send email from the Kace box. The enable servicedesk POP3 server is set to our mail server which is hosted. Any ideas why I can not add a comment to a ticket for the submitter to see ticket progress through email?

This is going to soudn simple but do you have the kbox configured to send comments to the submitter in your queue. By default the checkmark to send comments to the user (submitter) is off.
