HP Scanjet 4070 - removing icons
I am trying to deploy the HP software for the Scanjet 4070 scanner. I can get this to install unattended, but it leaves 2 icons on the desktop for Image Zone and HP Director. Is there any switch I can add to the command line to supress these icons?
As the software is running in a user context I cannot delete the icons after the install (access denied).

Is the silent install an msi or an exe?
It's one setup.exe with an embedded MSI which calls 15 separate exe's which each have embedded msi's.
I have since managed to get round the problem, our software we use runs VBscript in a user context but runs batch files in a system context. The solution was to create a batch file which called the .exe to kick off the install.
Now works like a charm. :-)
