How to use KACE 1000 v 7 to push out Windows updates by AD OU
Hello,
I have read a bunch of articles and posts on this but I am still uncertain how to achieve my deployment goal. My AD Structure is broken down like this.
Domain
States/Sites > Departments > Computers & Users
I have certain departments that cannot get certain windows updates so I thought it would be easy to just basically have an label, for exclusion for specific updates but I am not sure how to create the label to point to the Department>Computers OU and then a smart label that says "No KB12345658 update" for that OU.

Use LDAP labels to label machines by OU:
You can then apply specific patching schedules to those OUs or smart labels as you describe.
