How to take backup in installsheild
How to take a back up while uninstalling the software i need take backup some files, copy and paste to the some other location through installsheild script..can you help me in this regard...?

So you are working with Installshield to create an installer ?
But when uninstalling you want to ignore some files (or move them to other location)?

if so , you can either leave the resources in place by confguring the components as "permanent".
or if you want to move files during install / uninstall you can populate the movefile table - jaybee96 11 years ago
