How to remove Upgrade Function in Roxio Creator DE 9.0
Hi, I'm packaging Roxio Creator DE that came shipped as an OEM with Dell Computers. The only thing i do is to do minimal changes to the language transforms and installation is successful and tested fine. I excluded activation and update manager from the installation list. The only issue is I'm not able to remove the upgrade function which comes under Audio, Backup, Copy, Data, Photo and Video module on the left pane of the application. We need to remove it from the pane as we don't want users to have the ability to upgrade even though they have restricted access. Any ideas?

Can you remove this function from inside the application through a setttings dialog or through an inbuilt policy style set of settings?
If the answer to that is NO then you cant do what your asking.
If the answer to that is NO then you cant do what your asking.
