how to kick off a non-interactive repair of Office 2007?
Is way to kick off a non-interactive (silent) repair of Office 2007 suite? I know you can do it from Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs -> Office 2007 Professional (Change) -> Repair. But I need to find a way to kick of this from the cmd line.
Thanks

Go to <For Standard>
C:\MSOCache\All Users\{90120000-0012-0000-0000-0000000FF1CE}-C
<For ProPlus>
C:\MSOCache\All Users\{90110000-0012-0000-0000-0000000FF1CE}-C
and run Setup.exe /? for a list of commands
Setup.exe /Repair Standard
or
Setup.exe /Repair ProPlus
or whatever version you are using.
Drop a config.xml with your custom settings into that same directory and you can use that to setup a quiet or silent repair..
Hope this helps... Check out the AppDeploy page for Office 2007 / or Microsoft Office 2007 for links to info about config.xml
