Scripting Question

How to create a script for Adobe Reader

04/11/2016 655 views
HI,

I am needing to create a script to push out the latest version of Adobe Reader so that all of our user's that are not using the pro version can all be on the same version of the software?

Thanks,

  • Do you want ALL computers without Pro to have Reader? That is, do you want Reader automatically installed on computers that don't have an Adobe PDF program installed? For Mac or Win or both?
    Are you using patching in your environment? Have you setup a Managed Install before?

So, first steps:

  1. Download the software
  2. download CustWiz tool from adobe
  3. install custwiz
  4. use that interface to create a 'package;
  5. get back to us with better info and a more specific question
