Hi...thanks for the guidance..

I was basically looking for a vbscript to show a message box without an "OK" button and that message box will be controlled by a timer...

Use an HTA. There are a quadzillion examples around.

Alternatively, you can use IE as a dialog box. Since you'll be using HTML, you can have all the UI furniture you want. Again, many, many examples including, IIRC, a rather nice class.
