How to change service name

Hi,
A particular service in Websphere Apllication Server 6.0 takes the machine name in which it is packaged along with its service name IBM Websphere (say for eg:IBM Websphere Admin1) Its cristal clear that it would fail to work in the client machine.
So,I need to work on that service in such a way that it takes the name of the machine in which it is installed everytime.
Someone help me on this please.

You may replace the name of the service as
IBM Websphere [MACHINENAME] in this case the string [MACHINENAME] acts as a property. Please try this and I think it should work.

I've found that, although MACHINENAME is meant to be resolved from the machine's computer name, it's more reliable to use that environment variable directly. Thus, Rajit's advice would perhaps best be altered to using IBM Websphere [%COMPUTERNAME]
