Hi All,

I want to do silent installation for Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition SP1 on D drive.
Is there any switch which will install on D drive.
I tried with TARGETDIR="D:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0" but it is not working......can any one help me...

Why do you imagine any reply would be different from the reply you got when you asked virtually the same question on Wednesday??????

Yes, 99% of the MSI's are handled the same way. INSTALLDIR=D:\.... or ROOTDRIVE=D:\ should do the trick.

TARGETDIR is usually not used for this. That's probably the 1% exception.

Given your AppDeploy nickname, can we assume you're working for HP?
