How do you edit or delete comments entered in error in a Service Desk Ticket?

I had a tech email KACE and mistyped the ticket number, so the comment was added to the wrong ticket. I just wanted to know if there is a way to delete it.

You can create a rule that will delete a specific comment. You will need to know the ID of the comment which you can get by browsing the database using a tool like MySQL Workbench. Once you have that ID you can use a SQL statement to delete the comment in question.

  • Cool, I thought about that, it's just such a hassle to remove a comment, not sure why there isn't a "delete" option, you'd figure if you can delete a ticket, why not a comment...oh well. Thanks Chuck!
