How do software manage installations update automatically?

If a new version of a managed software is released, can it auto update the package in Distribution such as Office 365 Business Standard package?

  • Short but sweet lol, or in full, no you will either need to manually replace the MI payload or create a fresh MI to distribute the new software ;o) - Hobbsy 3 years ago
    • Well thank you for the quick response. The system we left to use KACE did this for us, so I suppose I should add this to the wish list. - chris.blandford 3 years ago

Having been burned too many times in the past, I would recommend that you never - EVER - let your vendors loose on your estate in the form of automated updates.

Obtain the update and UAT the Hell out of it first!
