how can you disable self reapir

hi

we have an package that was replaced with a newer version, completly different.

when the new version runs, the computer tries ot find the old install, on a path that was removed.

is there a way to disable self-repair for an already installed aplication?

we can't unistall the old version.

thank you!!

I would first try to find out why the original media is required during uninstall, a verbose log should give you some qlues.
If there is no way of removing the old version then use MSIZAP to remove the metadata references of the old version and you should be safe.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
