Im trying to find a way to return information about why scripts fail back to the script log in the K1000.  I thought I could just write a message to a registry key and use the task to log a registy key but that doesnt seem to work (v5.4.76847).  The log says it succeded but it did not return the value of the key.  It shows Registry value 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Test!testkey' : [] and it is definantely not blank.  Mayne Im not understanding how that is supposed to work.  Is there any way for a program ran from a script task to report back so that the information can be logged in the script log?
