Hi Guys, I am working on a POC for my organisation which dont want to spend much for software like Installshield for creating MSI and SCCM for deploying it.Can you please suggest few software which can create MSI and deploy those and are cheap.?
I have checked PRISM,wise packaging studio and Visual Studio 2010.

If it's for a PoC, then why not use trial versions of software?

This will confirm the PoC and trialing the software will guide you to which ones you'd like to be purchased if the PoC results in something being taken up.

The short answer is this; you have to pay money and get the proper tools & training to perform the automation you - and management - want. There are no shortcuts, no easy way around it. You gotta pay to play. Want to drive to work? You have to buy a car. You can't build one out of duct tape, toothpicks, wire hangers and other things lying around the house. Same goes for technology in the office.

The only thing that's cheap here is your management. Ask them: "Are you using Excel to run this company's accounts?" Is our personnel data kept in a Microsoft Access database?"

this product is created by Packagers , for Packagers.
Best product for the lowest price! I am now switching to RayPack as my preferred packaging product.

Don't forget the free version of AdminStudio for SCCM, Altiris and LANDesk. (But yes you have to buy either SCCM, Altiris or LANDesk)
