Helpdesk

Hi

Is it possible to give a user view access to helpdesk tickets from that particular label?

We have a single queue but 2 user groups (2 different LDAPs) and i need a user from one of the groups to be able to view tickets sumited only from that group.

Hope this makes sense!!!

Many Thanks

So you want one user to be able to own/edit tickets in one queue but only read them in another? That is not possible, but if they had an admin role then you could check the box to allow admins to have a read/edit role but they do not show up in the owners list for that queue (unless they are in the owners label).

I have a manager who wants to be able to view the tickets that the staff in her department are owners of. This is a department outside of Information Technology and I don't want her to be able to see all the tickets that come into the Helpdesk. Is there any way to do this with a label?

This is not possible. They will have to run a report which incorporates labels of the users.

I'm curious though...is this a security measure or just a convenience thing where you want to make it difficult for them to see tickets they shouldn't and easy to see tickets they should?
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
