help with with custom silent install for WISE app (TOAD v8.5)
I'm trying to setup TOAD v8.5 (which is packaged with WISE) to complete a silent install with custom settings. I can get it to do a silent install with the parameter '/s' but was wondering if there is someway i can have it record my installation settings and use those settings for a silent install.
For example, if you pass an installShield packaged app a parameter of '/r', it will create a setup.iss file with installation settings you picked. Then you can run the install with the setup.iss file to get a custom setup thats silent.
Is there anyway to get a silent custom install for WISE applications?

Using the “/s†switch is the correct method. I logged into quest.com as a guest user and they said that there is a bug in the executable and that’s why Xpert for PL/SQL is not installing silently. The fix is to wait for the next release. I just gave our users a message box stating that thy need to provide the following answers and that worked fine.
